The usual route
A Korean product usually passes through the manufacturer, a domestic wholesaler, an export agent and a local importer before it reaches you. Each step adds its own margin, and registration, paperwork and freight are bought separately on top. By the time the goods land, the factory price is only a small part of what you pay.
